The value of rear view cameras and mirrors in transportation in the old world

July 31, 2021 at 6:56 pm, No comments
The use of rear view cameras and digital rearview mirrors are increasing and proven to be essential in the old world and busy cities. Major cities and metropolitan areas see large transit numbers as people need to move from one destination to another through busy corridors. These cities at times include a hybrid of cars, taxis, motorcycles, buses and small to large commuter vehicles to facilitate the transport of people. By observing these human transactions one can see that the need for sensors and cameras is necessary to identify objects within and around these moving vehicles to ensure public safety and reduce financial liabilities. There are a  large numbers of people moving around cars, buses, trains and taxis which has not only created but boosted a market for good rear view camera technologies that enable identification of what's happening behind the vehicle and what's happening below the vehicle; this is essential for drivers to be able to make safe driving maneuvers  in busy areas, but also in places where space is limited. What's interesting is that such cameras vary in features and components compared to the ones in the US.

The advent of the camera has seen its fair share of change, as optics and devices become thinner and better, thus allowing the consumer to use it for various things. It is somewhat enlightening to see that different counties see the importance in rear view imaging technology and have adopted these technologies for safety and efficiency. Its also important to note the value in smart rear view mirror technology as taxis and ride shares are using such devices for metering as well as more advanced GPS oriented activities (there are better and more advanced GPS tools than what you see on your phone). Interesting to see where both smart technologies lead down the road.

Bring your IP to HV. With the America Invents Act of 2011, the United States switched its patent system from first to invent, where the inventor who can prove he had the idea first (and diligently worked to file for a patent) has the rights to the patent, to first to file, where the only thing that matters. Don’t publicize your work until you file, under important circumstances we may even cover the costs.
